Doyen Polished Nickel
DOYEN is a prominent handle with an elegantly slanted curve. This larger handle is beautiful as a statement piece on tall cabinet doors complementing smaller pulls and knobs in a kitchen, and amazing when paired or repeated on wardrobe doors. Thanks to its size and stable character, Doyen is a suitable handle for built-in refrigerators/freezers. The polished nickel plate has a warm tone and a smooth mirrored finish.
Pairs well with BLUNT, PICO BLUNT, BURLY & LIMBER in POLISHED NICKEL.
Living Finishes
All our finishes are living finishes. Uncoated by design, they are meant to evolve over time through touch, everyday use and exposure to the environment. Changes in tone, patina, and surface are natural and intentional, allowing each piece to develop a character unique to the space it inhabits. Patina is not a defect, but an intentional part of the design. Like time-worn jewelry, our hardware records the passage of time and use. The pace and character of this transformation depends entirely on handling and the surrounding environment, with no fixed timeline.
Polished Nickel features a bright, mirrored surface that will gradually soften over time. Areas that are less frequently touched may darken slightly, and with continued use the polished surface can become more matte, creating a subtle, lived-in character.
Care:
If the surface becomes wet or oily, dry immediately with a soft cloth. Do not use detergents, as this may change the finish’s character. If a brighter finish is desired, polished nickel can be repolished using a suitable metal polish to restore its sheen and tone.

All our products are intentionally made with uncoated, living finishes and will naturally develop a beautiful patina over time and are therefore subject to a slight variation and opacification.
The products may show small variations and imperfections due to the artisanal processing technique involved in making each of our pieces.
We recommend the occasional use of a soft damp cloth to help preserve the finish. The polished finishes can be given a light polish to restore the original sheen.
