Gavi Dark Brass

A larger wall hook defined by a clear, elongated curve. Its horizontal form creates a generous resting point, intended to hold hangers with ease. With concealed mounting and no visible hardware, it sits seamlessly against the wall, reading as a sculptural object as much as a functional detail. Repeated along a wall, it creates a calm rhythm and sense of structure, pairing effortlessly with our hooks Iris and Noor.
 
Finished in Dark Brass, the surface becomes richer and more grounded. The darker tone gives the hook a confident, architectural presence. With time and use, the finish will patinate naturally, becoming subtly lighter where touched and adding depth to its character.
 
Living Finishes
All our finishes are living finishes. Uncoated by design, they are meant to evolve over time through touch, everyday use and exposure to the environment. Changes in tone, patina, and surface are natural and intentional, allowing each piece to develop a character unique to the space it inhabits. Patina is not a defect, but an intentional part of the design. Like time-worn jewelry, our hardware records the passage of time and use. The pace and character of this transformation depends entirely on handling and the surrounding environment, with no fixed timeline.
 
Dark Brass is a matte finish artisanally pre-aged toevoke the depth of brass darkened over decades.
Over time, untouched areas will darken further, while frequent use will gradually reveal lighter brass tones
beneath, just as with naturally aged and darkened brass. With heavy use, touched areas may also become smoother and more polished, creating a natural contrast between light and dark.
 
Care:
If the surface becomes wet or oily, dry immediately with a soft cloth. Do not polish or use detergents, as this may change the character of the finish.
