Living Finishes
All our finishes are living finishes. Uncoated by design, they are meant to evolve over time through touch, everyday use and exposure to the environment. Changes in tone, patina, and surface are natural and intentional, allowing each piece to develop a character unique to the space it inhabits. Patina is not a defect, but an intentional part of the design. Like time-worn jewelry, our hardware records the passage of time and use. Satin Nickel has a soft, satin-matte surface from the outset. Over time, areas that are less touched may darken slightly, while frequent use can gently polish the surface, giving it a smoother and more reflective appearance.
